EVEN IN WAR, HUMANITY IS POSSIBLE
The recent tragedies in Israel and Gaza have resulted in unprecedented loss, trauma, and an increasingly dire humanitarian crisis.
In addition to the 1400 Israelis who were killed on Oct. 7, 3300 were wounded. Approximately 10,000 Palestinians have been killed and nearly 30,000 have been injured in Gaza. The pressure on frontline hospitals in Gaza, the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and Israel to treat the survivors is enormous.
Many of these hospitals are Rozana partners. Over the past two years Rozana has trained their trauma and emergency care physicians and their critical care nurses.
In addition, three of our signature projects, Women4Women, the West Bank segment of Wheels of Hope, and trauma therapy offered by our Binational School of Psychotherapy alumni continue to operate despite the war.
We are proud to support our partner institutions and Rozana alumni who are addressing urgent healthcare needs now and preparing for the long-term rehabilitation needs and mental health challenges to come.
We've never seen times like these. Your support is crucial.
PLEASE HELP US TO CONTINUE THIS VITAL WORK BY GIVING WHAT YOU CAN TODAY.
*Rozana Canada has decided to support the Wheels of Hope portion of this Emergency Relief Appeal. Funds raised will enable us to provide transportation for Palestinian patients, mostly women and children, to much needed treatment in Israeli hospitals.
